We all have 'em.
Days where we just don't feel like the super cool women we want to be. Women that our friends know to be amazing and strong. I think it's part of our DNA. Women have so many great qualities, there had to be a downside.
The downside is comparison and thinking we have to be perfect.
It's normal. It's to be expected - but not accepted.

It's normal. It's to be expected - but not accepted.

In my humble opinion, it is the job of other women, to remind us of these things when we are feeling down or discouraged. Just in case you are trapped under something heavy today and can not answer the phone, or leave the house to visit your friends...
If the only resource you have today is the internet - that is where I come in.
That is the main reason I started this blog.
That is the main reason I started this blog.
We women are way to hard on ourselves - and there are times this fact drives me crazy.
Today it is MY job to remind you. I was not blessed with talents like an amazing singing voice and I am not really crafty. I don't have impressive cooking skills and I can't give you health or beauty tips. But.....what I am good at - if I do say so myself - is seeing what women often forget to see in themselves. What I excel at, is holding up a mirror of sorts and reminding these women to really look. Challenging them to see what I see.
And I see so, so much...

so, here are today's quotes
I am holding up the mirror.
I am asking you to look.
I am asking you to look.
Maybe today will be the day where just like the little girl in this video,
we spend some time knowing we totally rock.
Because we do.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us, it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
