it's "take your sister to school" day!

Okay, there is no such thing as "take your sister to school day". But I got to hang out with 7th graders anyway!

 Have you seen the Movie "17 Again"? 

It is about a guy who is 40 and is married with 2 kids and somehow he is made young again and goes back to high school. If you have seen this movie then you know that at first he thinks high school will be easy for him because he has “was there done that". But, it doesn’t take long before he realizes that things have changed quite a bit since he was in school. It’s a bit overwhelming to say the least.

Well, that is kind of what I felt like today because; I got to sit in with my sister during her math class at the junior high school.  I was so impressed and in awe as I went through my day as Kay's sidekick.

You know how in church, sometimes the men have to take over the job teaching/watching the Primary kids?

Now think of what those men look like after 2 hours and that is about how I looked at the end of the day. I cant get over how much they all love her as their teacher!  I got to read some of the letters she got from her students and almost every single kid said that she made math make sense for the first time and she made learning fun.  It was unbelievable and very cool. 

What a great day!

Teachers do not make enough money and the GOOD teachers never will make what they deserve.

 Imagine if we paid teachers big salaries instead of politicians? I think America would be a very different place.
